What is the Global Health Security Agenda Consortium?
The Global Health Security Agenda Consortium is a voluntary and open collective of nongovernmental entities dedicated to values of collaboration, excellence, innovation, and commitment to prevent, detect, prepare for, and respond to disease outbreaks and other acute public health risks. The GHSA Consortium works with partners through the Global Health Security Agenda (GHSA) to promote implementation of the International Health Regulations (IHR), the World Organization for Animal Health (WOAH) Performance of Veterinary Services (PVS) Pathway, the Biological and Toxin Weapons Convention (BWC), United Nations Security Council Resolution 1540, and other health security frameworks and inititiatives.

The GHSA Consortium has an international membership that includes academic institutions, nonprofit organizations, and private industry from a variety of sectors, including public health and medicine, animal health and veterinary medicine, one health, health security, science and technology, policy, education and workforce development, and defense. Member profiles are listed in our member directory.
The GHSAC also maintains an Executive Steering Committee from within its membership to help steer the direction of the consortium. The Committee includes the most active members of GHSAC, and can be found by using the Steering Committee tag in our member directory.
