Next Gen Global Health Security Network: Request for Mentors

0

The NextGen runs a mentorship program every year, where we pair a student or early career professional with a mentor in the field who can help guide them on a project of the protege’s choosing and help them to develop their career over 8-9 months.

Given the extraordinary circumstances in which we find ourselves, that need is greater than ever, as travel and even the ability to collaborate with classmates and coworkers is stifled and hamstrung. We already have well over 30 applications for this year’s cohort, which we would like to launch in early April.

I have mentored proteges in the past and can tell you from experience that it is rewarding and interesting, and that our proteges go on to do incredible work, sometimes based on the strength of what they did with us.

If you are interested, please fill out this form, and do not hesitate to contact me or our Mentorship Program Coordinator, Kate Kerr.
